This is a very cheap and easy space saving item. Maosn Jars or as i call them Kilner jars.
All you will need is several jars and lids. I like odd numbers so always use 3. Mine cost £0.75 pence in Wilkinson and £0.99 pence for the screws.

You will also need a bradle and a cutting mat so you don't damage your table.
Place the jar lid on your mat and pierce with the bradle so the whole goes right through. Check that the hole is big enough for the screw to fit.

Measure the centre of the underneath of your shelf, then make a hole with the bradle. Then screw the lid, flat side, onto the shelf as shown.
Fill the jars with lots of pretties :)
