So I wanted to share my daily bathroom cleaning system. It only takes ten minutes and I usually do it in the evening after I've had my bath. A room is easier to clean when a few degrees hotter. The items I use are a dry microfiber mop, a bleach spray, one dry microfiber cloth and one wet and some toilet cleaner. I like this garlic one as it is bleach and baking soda mixed together,
Firstly I will spray the damp tiles with bleach spray and then wipe dry with my dry mop. This brings up the shine in the tiles as the mop buffs them. This is also a good idea as it gets any moisture off which if left can encourage mildew and mould growth. Wipe away any excess moisture you can see.
Next I move onto my sink and toilet. I dampen one cloth and spray all over the sink and toilet spending particular attention on the taps and toilet flush as these harbour the most germs. I clean all areas of both. Everything that is seen is cleaned. Taps, basin, toilet seat, under the seat, toilet lid, under the lid and all the porcelain.
Once everything has been cleaned I rinse my cloth out with warm, clean water and leave to air dry. With my dry cloth I get rid of any excess water then I buff everything to a shine. I finished off with some harpic down the toilet bowl.
I think you will agree that the after photographs look very clean indeed.
I'm aware that people don't need a lesson in cleaning and this blog is just to show that if you do this daily then it will only take ten minutes. If you leave it then the dirt will build up and you will need to do a deep clean which will take ages. You can then begin to feel overwhelmed with it.
So if you want to do less cleaning, try a short sharp daily clean .
